Show Me the Money

Sonic Flow now offers subscription tiers with a free plan featuring 2000 words per month and a Pro plan with unlimited words. This update brings seamless subscription management, smarter quick access to transcription history after pasting, and fixes the panel height issue that was covering UI elements on some devices.

    Sonic Flow now offers two subscription tiers to fit your needs. The free tier includes 2000 words per month, perfect for casual use. For power users, the Pro tier provides unlimited words with no restrictions. Easily upgrade to Pro directly through the app when you're ready for more.

  • Quick Access to Transcription History

    For five seconds after pasting your last transcript, double-clicking the floating bar now opens your transcription history instead of settings. This small change makes it faster to access your recent transcriptions when you need them most.

Fixes

  • Panel Height on Certain Devices

    Fixed an issue where the panel height was calculated incorrectly on some devices, causing the panel to be shorter than it should be and covering up UI elements at the bottom, including the account card. The panel now displays at the correct height on all devices.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Edit mode now works reliably across all applications, including Cursor and Raycast Notes. This update also brings dramatically improved performance for transcription history after hundreds of entries, faster processing for longer dictations, proper vocabulary handling in edit mode, and a fix for the sign-out button.

  • Edit Mode Compatibility

    Fixed critical compatibility issues preventing edit mode from working in Cursor, Raycast Notes, and several other applications. Edit mode now functions reliably everywhere you need it.

  • Vocabulary Recognition in Edit Mode

    Fixed an issue where custom vocabulary (like your name) wasn't being handled correctly in edit mode. Sonic Flow now spells your name and custom terms accurately when editing text.

  • Sign Out Button

    Fixed an issue where the sign out button wasn't working correctly and would fail to sign you out. The button now functions reliably as expected.

Performance

  • Transcription History Responsiveness

    Dramatically improved performance for the transcription history section after accumulating hundreds of transcriptions. The interface now remains incredibly smooth and responsive regardless of how many transcriptions you've saved.

  • Longer Transcription Processing

    Significantly improved processing speed for longer dictations. Even very long transcription sessions now process much faster, and fixed rare cases where longer dictations would get clipped prematurely.

Access all your past transcriptions with the new Transcription History panel, stored completely locally on your device. This update also brings a complete visual overhaul to the floating bar with sleek voice-reactive frequency bars, a refreshed DMG design, refined panel aesthetics, and improved responsiveness after cancelling transcription.

    Your transcription outputs are now saved and accessible in the new Transcription History section within the panel. Review everything you've dictated or edited, with all data stored completely locally on your device—nothing ever touches the cloud.

    Fixed an issue where Sonic Flow would occasionally spell your name incorrectly at the end of longer dictation sessions. Name recognition is now more reliable and consistent throughout dictations of any length.

    Fixed an issue where push-to-talk would malfunction after extended use. The feature now works consistently and reliably, even during long sessions.

    Fixed an issue where the underlying model would occasionally hallucinate and add "Thank you for watching!" at the end of dictation. These false outputs have been significantly reduced for cleaner transcriptions.
